After three massively successful, sold out 'Annie Mac Presents' tours over the last three years, Radio 1's Annie Mac brings the Annie Mac presents tour to Derry on Saturday May 2nd as part of
the forthcoming City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival. The event will feature a massive lineup that features Toddla T and Rusko performing alongside Annie Mac and Deep Fried Funk DJs.
ANNIE MAC is best known for her Radio 1 show, The MASH UP, where she broadcasts 2 hours of dance music around the world every Friday night. Her show has broken boundaries for having
no limits in terms of the music it represents, playing everything from house to Drum And Bass to Disco to Hip Hop to Electro.

RUSKO is like Dr Dre, Timbaland and Switch all rolled into one
with a serious overdose of bass. His sound continues to develop with different BPM’s that lean to jungle, house, hip hop or electro, either way, whatever BPM or tempo…you can immediately
tell a Rusko track. At 23 Rusko is only in 1st gear, with collaborations on the table with the likes of Switch, Diplo, Yo Majesty and Wiley the future sure is looking bright. Rusko is only going in
one direction. Onwards, upwards and far beyond any producer could dream of.

TODDLA T is South Yorkshire’s new bad boy on the bashment block. The young inheritor of the bleepy baton from the likes of Warp and Swag’s Chris Duckenfield, he’s the steel cherry riding
a top a rich musical heritage for a city that’s always liked it RUFF. Things are getting bigger and bouncier for our hero. His 40 track Ghettoblaster mixtape was hailed as the best mix of the
year by FACT magazine while his production fingers have been delving into the likes of Roots Manuva, Jack Penate and Roisin Murphy. DJ sets have got bigger and better with Toddla
bulldozing every floor he gets his mitts on. With his debut album set to drop in May, 2009 is shaping up to be the year Toddla T dons his big pants and does his dutty on the main stage.

Don't miss out on this unmissable show. Advance tickets priced £10 are on sale now at The Nerve Centre Box Office and online at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/46173. Advanced
purchase is advised. For more info, check www.anniemacpresents.com.

SUNDAY MAY 3RD @ MASONS, MAGAZINE ST, DERRY
ANDREW WEATHERALL (ROCK AND ROLL SET)
BEATNIK SOUL DJS
Doors: 8.30pm - late Adm: £7/8 (PAY AT DOOR)

One of the unmissable events of this years Jazz festival will be Andrew Weatherall's Rock and Roll set at Masons, Magazine St, Derry on Sunday May 3rd. Andrew Weatherall has long been
surprising music fans worldwide with his legendary 7" rock 'n roll sets, so for devotees this should be an unmissable highlight of this years festival.

There are few in the music world who can claim to have a better CV than Andrew Weatherall. Resident DJ at two of the first acid house clubs, Shoom and Spectrum, alongside Danny Rampling
and Paul Oakenfold, many also credit him for starting the Madchester scene with his cutting edge production of bands like Happy Mondays, New Order, James and Primal Scream. At this
stage, Weatherall was the most in-demand producer and DJ in the world. While others would have revelled in the euphoria and public acclaim, Andrew Weatherall shunned the limelight and
publicity, distancing himself from the mainstream dance scene. Going back to his punk roots he subsequently recorded with Keith Tenniswood as the Two Lone Swordsmen, while
maintaining his output through various alternatives projects. With a packed DJing schedule for the rest of 2009 and his self-titled album coming out later this year, it looks like Andrew
Weatherall will stay at the top for some time to come.
